Adult Ministries

There are many ways for adults to connect at First UMC!

First Friends: Connecting with Others at First UMC
More often than not, God chooses to transform our lives through relationships. When we have wonderful friendships with people who share a common desire to know God, God can do even more! First Friends is a gathering of people who are new to the church so that new people can connect with other new people and get to know one another better. Contact the church office if you are interested in joining a group.

5 Cups of Coffee  Do you want to deepen your spiritual life, but don’t have a regular enough schedule for a small group? With “5 Cups of Coffee,” you meet with one other person for five dedicated conversations, which are all guided by questions given to you. You can choose a partner, or ask for one! We are piloting these conversations this fall. Contact Pastor Leah for more information or if you’d like to be part of having these conversations!

FUMC Grief Support Group
Most people experience grief of some type during their life; and they will grieve in many different ways.  We at First UMC of the St. Cloud Region are providing a support group every month in the library, where we can share our stories of loss and discover helpful ways to travel the journey of grief. The purpose of this group is to provide a safe place to share the stories of grief.
